Put the other eight players listed under your Allies tab.

Not as necessary as the OP puts it (you should be mainly looking at the field), but is still a useful addition imo.

There are health bars above the characters on-screen.

3rd, the map is way too big for caring too much about that!

4th, learn how to say something more constructive than suggesting something out of what you so call "Oh I'm good at the game."

To OP: The prob with this is that the party panel will be quite big. Some people like me doing more than 1 thing at the computer use Window resolution for GW. It will be quite annoying.

The other problem is that most players in AB that is not in your team = random people you never know before. It will be tough to see who is next to you that need a heal. Map is too big. Beside after death, they will ressurect and it will even make it almost impossible to heal even with the 12-man party channel.

That mean I really don't think it will improve or make any different!
1 - If noone cares why are people posting here?

2 - I maximize my fun by maximizing my play. The better I play the more fun.

3 - What? It's actually an advantage to viewing...

4 - You should be looking at the battlefield regardless of what profession you are playing.

Edit: Jumped the bullet on spikes there, but either way, you should be looking at the battlefield regardless.

l2p . I'm jk. You need a balance of both, but good monks can STOP spikes (look at the movement of the (1) person, and trace it to one of ur party members).

Granted, staring at party bars as a monk is very dumb, but how many coordinated spikes do you honestly come across in AB?

I'm not sure about that. Most groups are pugs, i agree. But you get some guildgroups against you, healing prayers wont be enough. Because these players have most likely a spike build.

I never hide the panel of my party when playing a monk

I think as a compromise, you should have the ability to collapse the other two teams in the party window.

To be honest, if you're looking at the party window for people who have red bars going down, and you can see everyone, I wonder what the propensity will be to click on someone who is getting beaten on miles away...and end up running half way over the map to heal without thinking about it.

When I Monk in AB, I try to stick with my team, and if I come across another team, and someone is taking a beating, I'll help out if I can. I find the party window annoys me now...it's just something to clutter up my screen.

Having the option is never a bad thing, but I wouldn't want to be forced into seeing everyone else's health bars, when I am only interested in my team's.

Wouldn't be a bad idea to have the other teams show up under "Allies." I end up clicking on the wrong player often when they're bunched up.

True, but how much faster is it to click party members in the party window, rather than catching them on the battlefield and THEN healing, especially after the spike you are so worried about?

I've thought about this before, but I decided it would just encourage mobbing, which = fail. don't flame.

I wish I had thought about that. While I can appreciate the idea to make it easier to save that ally, it would encourage people to run in mobs, and I can't support that.

what if each box became progressively darker as the distance increased.
